Internship

Mental Health Caribbean (MHC) is the first and only integrated mental health organization on the BES islands. We are wholeheartedly committed to the mental health and wellbeing of the residents of Bonaire, St. Eustatius and Saba. As a socially engaged organization, we provide accessible, high-quality outpatient mental healthcare. We work closely with referrers, partner organizations and the support network of our clients.

We work on an outpatient, recovery-oriented and tailored basis, in close collaboration with clients, their network and partner organizations. Collaboration, development and social impact are central within our organization.

As an intern, you are part of a multidisciplinary team and get the opportunity to observe, contribute and develop yourself professionally in practice.

You can do your internship in different parts of MHC, such as:

• FACT (outpatient care, adults)
• SNP, Sentro Nos Perseveransia (treatment center)
• Outpatient clinic (youth and adults)
• Children & Youth (HI5)
• Resilensia (prevention and mental resilience)

What do we ask of you?

Within MHC, we offer internships for students of, among others:
