Nurse SNP
Would you like to use your knowledge and experience as a nurse in a unique and meaningful environment? As a Nurse at Sentro Nos Perseveransia (SNP), you provide nursing care and support to clients with addiction, psychiatric and/or psychosocial problems. Together with the treatment team, you contribute to a safe environment in which clients can work on their recovery.
What will you do?
You guide clients in day treatment and motivate them to keep taking part in the day program, carry out the detox protocol and organize activities that contribute to social recovery and a structured daily routine. You work according to the treatment plan and translate it into concrete support and early warning plans.
In addition, you:
- Guide clients in day treatment, lifestyle training and detox programs
- Perform nursing procedures and observations
- Coordinate and carry out the medication policy in consultation with the practitioner and the pharmacy
- Provide structure, support and guidance in daily functioning
- Actively contribute to team meetings and case discussions
- Intervene appropriately when a crisis situation occurs
You contribute to a safe and positive living environment in which clients learn to take responsibility. You work morning, evening and night shifts within a close-knit team that supports each other, in a treatment center where recovery, structure and collaboration are central.
Where will you work?

With us, you get room to deepen your expertise, collaborate and truly make a difference. We are proud of our social commitment and the impact we make on local communities.
What do we ask of you?
You listen attentively, communicate clearly and remain calm in stressful or conflict situations. You have an affinity with mental healthcare and want to learn and grow in your profession.
You also have:
- A completed vocational nursing education (MBO level 4); preferably BIG registered
- Experience with or demonstrable affinity for psychiatry, addiction care and somatic care
- Good social and communication skills
- A flexible attitude and willingness to work varying shifts
- An open attitude toward the diverse cultures in the Caribbean Netherlands
- Command of Dutch and Papiamentu (English/Spanish is an advantage)
What do we offer?
