Specialized Geriatric Nurse

Are you a committed and empathetic healthcare professional who wants to make a difference in the lives of others? For our care team, we are looking for driven Specialized Geriatric Nurses who make personal care and attention a priority. As a Specialized Geriatric Nurse, you provide nursing care and protocol-based medical care, coordinate the care process for assigned clients and promote the quality of nursing and medical care.
What will you do?
- Providing nursing care and protocol-based medical care, including wound care and injections
- Coordinating the care process, drawing up and carrying out treatment and care plans
- Making nursing and medical diagnoses after intake and informing clients and their relatives
- Taking part in multidisciplinary meetings and maintaining contacts with external organizations
- Identifying bottlenecks in care and making improvement proposals and quality initiatives
- Promoting expertise through instructions, clinical lessons and developing protocols
- Contributing to research and translating results into improvements in care processes
What do we ask?
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Several years of experience with and affinity for elderly care
- Empathetic and patient, with an eye for detail and attention for the client
- Flexibly available for irregular shifts and working days
- Good communication skills and a collegial attitude
