Pharmacy Assistant

To strengthen our dynamic team, we are looking (at very short notice) for Pharmacy Assistants for our pharmacies. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you monitor, check, dispense and distribute medicines and over-the-counter products. You provide customer-focused information and advice when dispensing medication and, together with your team, ensure correct stock monitoring for both the pharmacies and the departments within FM. Additional activities include carrying out quality checks, guiding and onboarding new colleagues and actively contributing to the development of current procedures and protocols.

What you bring

• You have relevant pharmacy assistant training at MBO level 4.
• You are available for a fixed period (to be agreed).
• You express yourself easily, both orally and in writing, when providing information to patients, physicians and nursing/care staff.
• You are client-oriented, have good judgment, can organize your work independently and remain effective in stressful situations.
• You are flexible and highly adaptable.
• Integrity and reliability are essential because you handle medicines and have access to sensitive information.
• You speak Dutch and English. Papiamentu and Spanish are an advantage.

What we offer you

In the position of Pharmacy Assistant, you receive a salary within Job Group 40, ranging from $2,720.00 to $3,717.00 gross per month for a 40-hour work week. In addition to your salary, you receive additional benefits, such as a pension plan, a 13th month, vacation allowance and 25 vacation days per year based on full-time employment.

If you come from outside Bonaire, we offer you a relocation package. This includes a contribution to moving costs, tickets for you and your family if applicable, and housing for the first two months. In addition, FM offers a Papiamentu course so you can quickly become familiar with the local language, and you are eligible for an annual Vitality Budget.
