‍What you will do

As a pharmacist, you are responsible for pharmaceutical patient care, medication safety and quality monitoring. Your work will mainly take place in the community pharmacies. In addition, you take part in the daily work in the hospital pharmacy and the on-call service. You work in multidisciplinary teams on challenging projects in the field of medication safety, service, IT and quality. Your tasks include:

• Acting as a point of contact and providing information, instruction and advice to both employees and patients;
• Ensuring good internal communication;
• Developing policy within your field;
• Advising the Board of Directors and the Care Coordinator, both on request and on your own initiative.

What you bring

• You are a motivated, enthusiastic and BIG registered pharmacist.
• You have a broad interest in pharmacy and pharmacotherapy, are eager to learn and customer-oriented.
• You are able to work in a project-based and planned way, think logically and keep an overview.
• You can easily provide information to patients, physicians and nursing/care staff, both orally and in writing.
• Speaking Spanish or Papiamentu is an advantage.

What we offer you

In the position of Pharmacist you receive a salary within Job Group 70, ranging from $5,843 to $8,679 gross per month for a 40-hour work week. In addition to your salary, you receive additional benefits, such as a pension plan, a 13th month, vacation allowance and 25 vacation days per year based on full-time employment.

If you come from outside Bonaire, we offer you a relocation package. This includes a contribution to moving costs, tickets for you and your family if applicable, and housing for the first two months. In addition, FM offers a free Papiamentu course so you can quickly become familiar with the local language, and you are eligible for an annual Vitality Budget.
